About Goethe Dental School

The Master’s Degree Program ‘Master of Science in Oral Implantology’ (MOI) was established 2009 at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe-University Frankfurt/Main. Located at the Dental School Carolinum on the campus of the University Hospital Frankfurt.

The roots of the Dental School reach a long way back. In 1890 the "Heilanstalt Carolinum" (Sanatorium Carolinum) was founded to provide medical services to the citizens of Frankfurt. In 1915, the Carolinum was incorporated in the then newly founded Johann Wolfgang Goethe-University Frankfurt.

Since that time, the Dental School provides dentals services at all levels: Education for undergraduate, postgraduate students and practioners as well as intensive patient care.

The Master's Degree Program were designed for the dental practioner with tight time budget, eagerness to improve practical skills and to work scientificly. Participants will be able to independently plan and implement therapy concepts for the treatment of patients requiring dental implant prosthetics. In addition, you will also have the skills required to select, analyse and fully integrate into your own practice a full range of treatments and knowledge in this field of dental implantology.
